Ken Boyter
C0-producer, writer and presenter

![]() Actor, writer and keen board game player, I love all things in the fantasy genre. I write and present and generate ideas for the fantasy YouTube show called The Bottled Imp where we explore the realms of fantasy, especially fantasy films, books and board games.
I'm currently writing an illustrated children's epic verse book called The Legends of Grimous Ironblood with illustrations by Richard Nairn. I've had several short stories published and three plays and two musicals for children performed. As an actor I've appeared in over 20 short films and 7 features, 3 plays and over 150 murder mysteries. My influences and inspirations come far and wide. To list a few: Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, The Pillars of the Earth, Jim Henson’s The Storyteller, Philip K. Dick, Terry Pratchett, any obscure folk tale or old myth, books on magic, spiritual and religious matters, and history. To find out more about me, visit www.kenboyter.co.uk |

Julian Newman Turner
Co-producer, editor and director
I'm the co-producer, editor and director of The Bottled Imp which means as well as coming up with ideas and shaping the show along with Ken, I'm also responsible for the technical aspects of getting the show made and on-line.
I've worked in 'visual arts' for nearly 30 years and been involved in acting and directing for a lot of that time. I'm a professional photographer and dabble in film making from time to time under the banner of Lucid Dream Pictures. Even though I'm not as 'obsessed' about the fantasy genre as Ken is, I am enjoying The Bottled Imp journey, or exploration of the realm, and look forward to seeing how it develops. |

Grocklesnook
Swamp Dweller Imp
Some might say Grocklesnook is the real star of the show and Ken would more than likely agree! After all, he giggles and laughs his way through each episode. That and Ken is slightly scared of him.
A mischievous imp who dwells in a magical bottle, thought lost but was found in a dank swamp and hence thought to be a Swamp-Dweller Imp. Known for disrupting the lives of all those he visits. Rumour says a disgruntled troll, who was so fed up with Grocklesnook's tricks, trapped him in a magical bottle by luring him with Honeysuckle cider. Can be dangerous. You have been warned. |
